What We Do
At Eden, adults with intellectual disabilities build meaningful work, care for the environment, and take part in community life. Together, these programs create opportunities for income, independence, and belonging. They are finding their self discovery through friendship and meaningful work, and making a ripple effect of positive change in their families and communities!

Entrepreneurship
Since 2019, Eden has created opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities to earn income through entrepreneurship. They craft beeswax candles and a line of wellness products with organic essential oils, sell at local markets, and deliver to retail partners. They also lead public workshops and school presentations, bringing inclusion directly into the community. Through their work, they are developing their leadership skills, confidence, and creating economic independence for themselves.
Reforestation
In 2024, Eden expanded into environmental work through the Earth Stewards program. Participants partner with a nearby protected forest and eco park to plant seeds, nurture seedlings, and restore native trees. They also join a local composting initiative, cleaning buckets and processing organic waste to support healthier soil and sustainable practices.

Social Integration
Eden entrepreneurs break stigmas by engaging with community life. Eden regularly hosts local excursions, and the entrepreneurs lead activities for each other and take part in yoga, music, and art with neighborhood partners. Families receive ongoing support, and Eden hosts monthly open-house events to connect anyone with disabilities and their loved ones with a broader community. These experiences spark friendships, confidence, and independence—building fuller lives and stronger communities.
